- Departmental long term goals
- Encouraging commitment to each other in the church (Hebrews 10:24-25)
- Connecting to a caring and functioning fellowship and small group (Acts 2:42-47)
- Nurturing authentic loving relationships (John 15:12-13)
- Departmental goals and ministries for Year 2009:
- Coordinate and support church wide fellowship for the CBCM Congregations
- Encourage and assist members from every congregation to participate the church wide fellowship;
- Help church members to participate the 3-1-5 Ministry Focus Area (MFA) ministries;
- Encourage each fellowship group’s members to offer their prayers, resources and time through the work of the Holy Spirit to achieve the goals of the 3-1-5 MFA
- Ministries:
- No church-wide retreat was planned for 2009
- Cantonese Congregation will have 3-days/2-nights retreat on Memorial Day Weekend (5/23-5/25) at Frostburg University, MD
- English Congregation will have a one day retreat on May 23 (Sat)
- Mother’s Day and Father’s Day Church Wide Fellowship:
- Prepare Fellowship Department’s budget
- Plan and coordinate the combined service program
- Purchase gifts for each mother and father of CBCM members
- Coordinate other departments for combined services
- Thanksgiving and Christmas Special Events:
- Plan and coordinate these special event’s combined service programs;
- Coordinate other departments for combined services
- Support each fellowship group:
- Caleb Fellowship, Grace Fellowship, Hwa-Shen Fellowship, Mission, Agape Cantonese Young Adult, Rock Mandarin Young Adult Fellowship, English Men’s Fellowship, English Women’s Fellowship and Sport Ministry
