Young Adult Ministry | Fellowship

CBCM YA engages in a variety of worship, fellowship, small group and service activities. It's a great way to get to know those within the community, others outside the community and most importantly God!! We invite you to join us in one or more of these activities.

Sunday School - These classes begin each Sunday at 9:45 a.m..

YA Worship Service - Starts promptly at CBCM at 11:15a.m..

Lunch Fellowship - After the worship service on the 1st Sunday of each month, we eat lunch together and corporately with the entire church in the Fellowship Hall. It is free for newcomers.

Service Projects - Once a month, usually on 3rd Saturday, we visit the Homeless in D.C.

Small Groups - We have various weekly or bi-weekly small groups that center around Bible study, sharing, prayer, accountability, encouragement and group outings. We can help connect you with an appropriate group if you would like.

Retreat - Once a year, we have a retreat for our Young Adult community at a nearby retreat site. It's a great time to get away from it all and concentrate on God and strengthening relationships amongst those in the community.

Prayer Meeting - As Christians in the CBCM YA community we want to be prayer warriors and a house of prayer, so we get together bi-weekly Monday evenings to pray for each other and people in our community.

Missions Trips - This is a chance for a group of us to go into a less fortunate place in the world and help those less fortunate. While serving God and others, we also get to know people. Locally, we routinely go to Little Lights and Warmhearts in D.C. Globally, we have coordinated short-term missions trips throughout the U.S. and the rest of the world.

Hebrews 10:24 - 25

"And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the Day approaching."
